The stunning and sandy Maria Deveraux by Harrison Marks posing on a beach on location in and around the Isles of Scilly. Taken in 1958 during a visit to the islands, there are many similar shots of Maria posing on the beach that were published in ‘Kamera on Location’. This shot didn’t seem to make the cut, but comes from a scan of the original negative taken at the time and worth of any publication. Another beach beauty. :)

Stunning indeed. A very well-developed 17-and-a-half year-old. Trivia – she was the stand-in (body-double in moden parlance) for Elizabeth Taylor in the film Cleopatra, released in 1963.
