As you say she is not a “Readers Wife” but then the social norms were very different in those days and “nice girls” rarely posed nude. A more relaxed attitude and the acceptance of pictures of feminine beauty is very welcome but they still need to be presented tastefully if they are not to be thought of as porn. I think these pictures are great but as someone else has already noted, black and white still adds that touch of authenticity and a suggestion of daring by the model.
