A perky blonde named Gisa taken by Paul Pantha on location at some house in January 1967 from a set of contact sheets sent over by Kevin. This is another case of different names for different people, in this case both the model and the photographer.
The photographer Paul Panta is none other than Terry Sparks and Gisa is more well known as UK model Susan Shaw, with these shots of her being taken early in her career. If you go have a look at her over on VEF she went on to have a long and varied career, including appearances in Parade, Fiesta and Mayfair and plenty of Page 3 type work. She also had a foray into the more explicit and hardcore work, as well as posing with James Hunt and appearing on numerous record covers!
Terry also went under the name Paul Pantha as a photographer when he worked for Russell Gay, before later using his own name. I have several other sets of contact sheets by Paul Pantha with more to come, but isn’t it sad that I recognised the photo’s as Terry’s work immediately, which he has since verified.
A beautiful shot of Susan posing on the doorstep in panties and a nice open towelling top, which must have been all the fashion back then as she has a matching towelling swimsuit in other shots :)

Sue Shaw was a lovely girl – she died a couple of years ago. She caused a storm when she, with another model, sprawled naked across the bonnet of a car at the Motor Show. Oddly I can’t recall the make of car. I think she also appeared wearing not very much in a Carnaby Street shop window, pretending to be a dummy. She was also married for a while to the singer Ian Drury.
