Happy Christmas & Thank You!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Christmas for the coming festivities and hope everyone has a relaxing break with family, as I plan to do!

Dawn Grayson from the first page of Kamera Winter Special (1967) – Yum!

I also wanted to thank everyone for the support they have shown to this site since it started in March and to the new Just June site.  Special thanks must go to John W, Simon, Phil, David, Alexei, Roop and everyone else for all their great contributions from original images and scans to the great comments and information that they impart – Thanks guys!

I’ll continue to update the sites over the Christmas period, but not as regularly as normal.

Happy Christmas and see you all in 2014!

Cheers,

Wonder

Xmas Cracker – Dawn Grayson (2)

A wonderful festive shot of Dawn Grayson as today’s Xmas Cracker, posing on the festive set again and looking as stunning as ever as she poses with the familiar fur coat.  This comes from the Kamera Winter Special (1967)

Xmas Cracker – Dawn Grayson

One of my favourite Xmas Crackers today in the shape of Dawn Grayson.  This is an uncensored view of Ms Grayson showing her shaven pubic region very clearly and was taken from the Kamera Winter Special published by Harrison Marks in 1967.  Thank god that’s not real snow, her bits would be well and truly frozen!

Dawn Grayson – Blonde & Pink!

Dawn Grayson by Harrison Marks on the ‘Studio set’ at Lily Place studio’s probably mid 1960’s.  The blonde wig was worn when she appeared under the name ‘Liza Martelle’ and the pink underwear set seems to have been worn by other models such as Nicky Stevens and Julie Collins to name two.

Carla Higgins – Girl Illustrated No.2

Been far too long since we had an image of the girl from Luton, so I give you Carla Higgins (Dawn Grayson) from Girl Illustrated No.2 (1966).  A bit of creative writing on the part of GI this time as the accompanying text says ‘The red haired Argentinian model hails from Buenos Aries!’

Liza Martelle

Liza Martelle (Dawn Grayson) – We know GHM had a propensity to give his models aliases when they modelled in wigs, such as Rita Landre (Pam Green) and Mary Stephan (Caroline Coon). What I didn’t know is that Dawn Grayson had one as well when modelling in the blonde wig above! Apparently she was known as Liza Martelle, a beautiful strip artist from the crazy horse in Paris.

GHM revealed this in an interview for Fiesta magazine in 1976 called ‘ Harrison Marks Rides Again!’.  He also said that she was in London for an appearance and due to his sheer charm and youthful sex appeal he was lucky enough to get her before his camera … and other places!

Well I never! That’s the first time I have come across Liza Martelle and a photo similar to the one above appears with those comments.  So, unless there is another Liza Martelle or the photo was wrong, then it’s Dawn Grayson :)
