June Palmer and The Fan (Original)


Two very graceful nude shots of June Palmer taken by John W in one of the photo sessions he had with her.  These were taken in 1987 and June was 47 at the time, but her figure although more ample than her younger modelling years was just as enthralling!  I particularly like the pose of June in the top shot.

  1. Super! – particularly, as you say, the top shot. I had never seen such late shots of June – taken some thirty plus years after the start of her career – but these are lovely. (Junoesque indeed, if you'll forgive the pun).Whether she had an almost instinctive posing ability, or whether she worked at it (or whether it was a bit of both) she was always “special” and it still shows.Alexei

  2. Thanks AlexeiI too am loving these older shots of June and have many more to share thanks to a very generous contact. It seems that right to the end of her modelling career she never lost the ability to find the perfect pose.Wonder

  9. Agree, June Palmer is a brave nudemodel that shared her beauty with the whole world. I wish I could have thanked her. She really still means a lot to young girls of our time because she was a bit “round” soft and lovable. So does most models of the UK from the sixties. Pictures of them should be spread so that our young girls dare to eat well! All the best from old Nils
