Sophia Dawn on the cover of Connoisseurs Choice & Modelling Review Magazine Vol.5 No.9 (date unknown). I can never find any reference to dates on these magazines, but at a guess early to mid 1960’s and the setting looks to be at Ewhurst.

CCMR Vol. 5 #5 has an advert for a book on “Coccinelle” an Italian sex change man/woman with the claim that the National Press had reported his/her marriage on 1962-03-16. If we provisionally date that issue to May 1962, that dates CCMR Vol. 1 #1 to January 1958 and your issue to September 1962, which isn’t too early for Sophie Dawn, Grace Jackson or Jane Matthews. However, you will note that your issue contains an apology for its late arrival.I’ve only about a dozen CCMRs to go on. I’m sure other surfers of this blog will have more evidence.
